Game Tester
Join an independent studio QA team testing a new videogame property being developed with THQ Inc. for the Nintendo Wii, DS and PC. As a Game Tester, you will get valuable hands-on game industry experience and gain exposure to all aspects of video game development across multiple platforms. At Blue Fang, we work hard everyday but we’re smart about the work we do and our QA team places an emphasis on productivity and efficiency. We’re not about burning people out and we strive to maintain regular, sane work hours.

Responsibilities include:
• Daily hands-on functional testing
• Writing up bug reports
• Running regression tests as directed by the Test Lead
• Running manual test scripts
• Providing feedback on the game’s fun and intuitiveness

REQUIREMENTS
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Some experience with MS word, MS Excel, and common web browsers
• Must love playing animal based games

Test Engineer
Do you love test automation and the challenge it provides?
Are you at the point in your QA career where you would like to dedicate yourself to functional test automation and tools?
Do you like the idea of the being the automation and tool go-to person for a small studio-based QA team?

Come join the Blue Fang QA strike team and help us increase our quality and efficiency by providing solid functional test automation and tools. We are looking for a Test Engineer who will take ownership, champion ideas and lead our test automation efforts.

Responsibilities include:
• Designing, creating, and maintaining an automated testing solution for PC, Wii, and other consoles.
• Creating and maintaining automated test scripts
• Assisting the Test Lead in automating the collection of daily performance statistics
• Designing and creating tools that will help the QA team in their daily testing REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 2-3 years QA experience
• Working knowledge in C++, Lua script, and/or C#
• Experience with functional test automation methodologies
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and SQL
• Familiarity with XML
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
