Flash (ActionScript) Games Programmer - CONTRACT POSITION

Job Description:

Blue Fang is exploring new projects and platforms for future development. We will be developing a pilot project in Flash that may eventually evolve into a released product, and are seeking an experienced Flash developer to work with our animators and artists in building the game. The work will initially be done under a contract, but this could potentially grow into a full-time position.

If you are a talented, experienced Flash game programmer who loves creating great software then Blue Fang would like to talk to you. You would be responsible for designing and building the initial ActionScript implementation of a game that involves all of the aspects of modern game technology, including AI, physics, pathfinding, collisions, etc.

Required Skills:
• Strong Flash/ActionScript skills, including software design and architecture
• Experience developing Flash games
• Good communication skills – speak and write clearly

Desirables:
• Experience with ActionScript components or frameworks for game development (such as AI, physics…)
• Experience with Flash/CS3 and ActionScript 3.0

This is initially a temporary contract position, with a potential transition to full-time employment.

Game Tools Programmer
