Blue Fang Announces Peter King as Studio Art Director
Waltham, MA – January 12, 2009 – Blue Fang GamesTM announced today that Peter King is joining its team as Studio Art Director.
In his role, Peter is responsible for driving both internal and external art to achieve strong quality visuals in Blue Fang’s product line. He works at advancing the artistic vision by motivating the art team and working with all other disciplines.
Peter has worked for 14 years in the game development industry, starting in the early days of Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. He spent almost seven years at Electronic Arts creating games such as Need for Speed 1-3 and James Bond. He spent almost the same amount of time at Amaze Entertainment (now part of Foundation 9) where he worked on Finding Nemo, Shrek 2, Sims 2, Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man’s Chest, Indiana Jones and Wolverine:Origins.
Peter also worked in the classical animation industry on titles such as Beetlejuice, Rupert the Bear and Ferngulley. He also worked for 2 years in the graphic design industry doing layout, concepts and illustration.
Peter went to school at both Brock University for Film and Sheridan College for Classical Animation.
